About Julie
Julie has been in veterinary medicine for 35 years. Julie always knew animals were where she wanted to dedicate her life. In addition to her many years of experience, Julie’s kindness, work ethic, and team spirit help distinguish her as a leader in the practice. Starting out with on-the-job training, Julie continued to advance her skills ultimately becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician prior to taking on the role of Practice Manager.
Julie is motivated by helping others reach their fullest potential and ensuring your four-legged family members receive the best care possible.
In Julie’s spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, garden, decorate, and travel. Her kind heart has led her to a full house; Julie shares her home with her rescued herd including 4 dogs, 5 cats, a bearded dragon, a turtle, multiple fish, and frogs.

Ashley
Assistant Practice Manager
About Ashley
Ashley has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. Ashley started working at Harlingen in 2008 working her way in to our Head Veterinary technician position in 2014, and has since merged that role with her Assistant Practice Manager position. Ashley is an invaluable member of the Harlingen team, helping out in any area of the clinic that needs assistance. When Ashley is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, listening to music and attending as many live concerts that her wallet will allow. In addition to Ashley’s human family, Ashley has a miniature pincher named Annabelle and a bearded dragon named Tito Jelly.

Lauren, AAS, CVT
VETERINARY Technician
About Lauren
Lauren is our go to veterinary technician for all things feline but don’t worry, she is great with our canine companions too! Lauren has been a veterinary technician for 11 years, 8 of which included helping with surgery and anesthesia. Lauren has an Associates’s Degree in Applied Science from Lehigh Carbon Community College/Northampton Community College. She wakes up every day with the goal of helping those that are unable to help (or speak for!) themselves, a motivation that stemmed from watching her grandfather help any injured critter that appeared in their yard. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys staying active, showering her kitty Claudio with attention, spending time with her family, and antiquing. Lauren has two beloved cats at home, her pride and joy Claudio, and her spunky girl Plover.

Nicole
Veterinary Technician
About Nicole
Nicole is an experienced technician who has been working in veterinary care for the past 6 years- half of which has been spent here at Harlingen Veterinary Clinic. She appreciates the dynamic work environment and the chance to learn something new every day! Nicole is compassionate and treats every pet that comes into the clinic like her own. Nicole excels at ultrasound imaging and often collects images to be evaluated by specialists. In her free time, Nicole likes to explore new hiking trails with her family and eating- especially ice cream! She is kept busy with her son Tommy, dog Tully, kitties Mikey, Lucy, and Corey, and a new flock of chickens!

Jamie
Veterinary Technician
About Jamie
Jamie has multiple years of experience working with animals including working as a veterinary technician at Oradell Animal Hospital (an emergency and specialty practice), working as a technician at the Turtle Back Zoo, and fostering animals for the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge. Jamie is also a graduate of the Veterinary Technology Program at Bergen Community College and is currently in the process of obtaining her B.S. in animal science from Rutgers. She finds her motivation in providing the best care possible so every animal can live their happiest and healthiest life. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her pups, taking naps, and catching up with family. Jamie has a big fur baby family consisting of her dogs Fox, Forest, and Crosby, her cats Reese, Everest, Clementine, and Sprite, 2 leopard geckos Ghost and Irwin, and her hedgehog Milo.

Christina

About Christina
Christina has been in the veterinary field for three and a half years, first as a receptionist and then as a technician. Striving to continue her advancement in the field, Christina is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program and is on her way to becoming a certified technician (yayayaya!!!). In addition to her drive to further her knowledge, Christina is motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In her free time, Christina likes to go hiking and spend time with her family- fur babies included! Christina is greeted every day after work by her dogs, Sammie and Theo, her cat, Callie, and her turtles, Franklin and Rosie.

About Emily
Emily has been in the veterinary field for about 3 years, first as an assistant and then worked her way into the technician role. Emily is dedicated to helping animals in any way she can. She’s also familiar with using the Fear Free approach by creating a less stressful experience when animals come to the vet by providing lots of treats and love for every patient. When Emily is not working, she enjoys spending time with her rescue pup Tito from Puerto Rico and tending to her plant collection which has over 30 plants and is still growing.

Samantha, AST, CVT
Veterinary Technician
About Samantha
Samantha has been a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of New Jersey since graduating from The Vet Tech Institute and passing the VTNE in 2017. Following her internship as a technician at Quakertown Veterinary Hospital in PA, she was hired as an emergency technician where her focus was on surgery, ICU, exotics and large animal medicine. After moving back to New Jersey to be closer to family, she continued to work in the field and became a lead technician, as well as a dental coordinator at her previous hospital. Her passion for animal care started at a young age while tending to her childhood pets through out their lives and she understands how important our furry, scaly and feathery friends are to us all. Samantha’s hobbies include yoga, crafting and anything spooky or related to Halloween! She shares her household with a beagle named Lola, a cornsnake Ginger and 2 tabby cats Bowie and Ziggy.

Michelle came to the Harlingen family from the human medical field and hasn’t looked back!
Demonstrating a strong work ethic and leadership skills, Michelle quickly became the lead Customer Service Representative bringing her department to the top.
An avid animal lover, Michelle has experience with horses, goats, and sheep as well as dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and rodents.
Michelle’s home is the official spot where Mabel, our house cat, likes to vacation, spending her long weekends and holidays!
When Michelle is not in the office she can be found traveling the world or hiking the national parks with her beloved German Shepherd Dog, Sunny!

About Paige
Paige joined the Harlingen Veterinary Clinic team in the summer of 2022. Paige is known for her cheerful welcome and bright smile. When Paige is not at Harlingen she can be found researching astrology and behind a camera taking pictures of the moon. Paige enjoys spending time with her family and friends but most of all spending time with her four-legged companions. Paige also enjoys painting, crafts, and spending time in the quiet of nature.

Mabel is the resident queen of Harlingen Veterinary Clinic. Quiet and reserved, Mabel is often found catching up on her beauty rest in her basket or in cozied up in front of the fireplace. Mabel enjoys strolling the hallway for snacks, greeting clients, and staying just at a distance from exuberant dogs. Mabel looks forward to her long weekends and holidays at Chez Michelle!
