Julie, CVT

Practice Manager

Julie has dedicated over 35 years to veterinary medicine, driven by a lifelong passion for animals. Her extensive experience, coupled with her kindness, work ethic, and team spirit, has established her as a leader in our practice. Julie began her career with on-the-job training and continuously advanced her skills, eventually becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician and later stepping into the role of Practice Manager. Julie is passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential and ensuring that your four-legged family members receive the best care possible. In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, decorating, and traveling. Her kind heart has led her to a full house, as she shares her home with a rescued herd that includes dogs, cats, a turtle, and fish.

Ashley

Assistant Practice Manager

Ashley, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the veterinary field, embarked on her journey at Harlingen in 2008. Initially joining as a part-time technician, her dedication and proficiency led her to a full-time position and eventually to the role of Lead Technician in 2014. In 2021, she seamlessly integrated this role with her current position as Assistant Practice Manager, further demonstrating her versatility and commitment to the clinic.
As an integral part of the Harlingen team, Ashley’s contributions extend beyond her designated roles, offering assistance wherever the clinic requires. Outside the professional sphere, Ashley enjoys spending her time with her husband and two children. She is an avid reader and music enthusiast, with a particular fondness for live concerts, attending as many live shows as her budget permits.

Nicole

Veterinary Technician

Nicole is an experienced technician who has been working in veterinary care for the past 6 years- half of which has been spent here at Harlingen Veterinary Clinic. She appreciates the dynamic work environment and the chance to learn something new every day! Nicole is compassionate and treats every pet that comes into the clinic like her own. Nicole excels at ultrasound imaging and often collects images to be evaluated by specialists.  In her free time, Nicole likes to explore new hiking trails with her family and eating- especially ice cream! She is kept busy with her son Tommy, dog Tully, kitties Mikey, Lucy, and Corey, and a new flock of chickens!

Christina

Veterinary Technician

Christina has been in the veterinary field for three and a half years, first as a receptionist and then as a technician. Striving to continue her advancement in the field, Christina is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program and is on her way to becoming a certified technician (yayayaya!!!).  In addition to her drive to further her knowledge, Christina is motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.  In her free time, Christina likes to go hiking and spend time with her family- fur babies included!  Christina is greeted every day after work by her dogs, Sammie and Theo, her cat, Callie, and her turtles, Franklin and Rosie.

Emily

Veterinary Technician

Emily has been in the veterinary field for about 3 years, first as an assistant and then worked her way into the technician role. Emily is dedicated to helping animals in any way she can. She’s also familiar with using the Fear Free approach by creating a less stressful experience when animals come to the vet by providing lots of treats and love for every patient. When Emily is not working, she enjoys spending time with her rescue pup Tito from Puerto Rico and tending to her plant collection which has over 30 plants and is still growing.

Samantha, AST, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Samantha has been a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of New Jersey since graduating from The Vet Tech Institute and passing the VTNE in 2017. Following her internship as a technician at Quakertown Veterinary Hospital in PA, she was hired as an emergency technician where her focus was on surgery, ICU, exotics and large animal medicine. After moving back to New Jersey to be closer to family, she continued to work in the field and became a lead technician, as well as a dental coordinator at her previous hospital. Her passion for animal care started at a young age while tending to her childhood pets throughout their lives and she understands how important our furry, scaly and feathery friends are to us all. Samantha’s hobbies include yoga, crafting and anything spooky or related to Halloween! She shares her household with 2 beagles named Lola and Lydia, a cornsnake Ginger and 2 tabby cats Bowie and Ziggy.

Michelle

Customer Service Representative

Michelle came to the Harlingen family from the human medical field and hasn’t looked back! 
Demonstrating a strong work ethic and leadership skills, Michelle quickly became the lead Customer Service Representative bringing her department to the top. 
An avid animal lover, Michelle has experience with horses, goats, and sheep as well as dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and rodents. 
Michelle’s home is the official spot where Mabel, our house cat, likes to vacation, spending her long weekends and holidays!  
When Michelle is not in the office she can be found traveling the world or hiking the national parks with her beloved German Shepherd Dog, Sunny!

Olivia

Technician Assistant

Olivia is our Technician Assistant who is hoping to build her skills and become a Technician in the future. She has grown up on a farm in Skillman NJ and has loved animals big and small for as long as she can remember. In her free time, Olivia loves to pet sit for animals around town and work on a farm taking care of horses, cows, donkeys, and many more. Olivia is a proud cat mom to her 3 cats Rambo, River, and Tobie.

Jessica

Veterinary Technician

Jessica is a dedicated veterinary technician with seven years of experience in the field. Starting out as an assistant, she has worked her way up to become a skilled technician, showcasing her commitment and expertise. Jessica has also held the position of tech supervisor for two years at her previous practice, demonstrating her leadership abilities.

At home, Jessica enjoys the company of her beloved cat and dog. She is a devoted mother to her 3-year-old son, whom she adores. In her spare time, Jessica loves to read, finding joy and relaxation in the world of books.

Veterinary Technician

Justin has been a veterinary technician for almost 4 years. He loves working with all kinds of animals, big and small. Justin enjoys every aspect of the job, especially surgery. When not at work, Justin can be found watching football or playing lacrosse.

Mabel

Hospital Cat

Mabel is the resident queen of Harlingen Veterinary Clinic. Quiet and reserved, Mabel is often found catching up on her beauty rest in her basket or in cozied up in front of the fireplace. Mabel enjoys strolling the hallway for snacks,  greeting clients, and staying just at a distance from exuberant dogs. Mabel looks forward to her long weekends and holidays at Chez Michelle!

Rebekah

Veterinary Technician

Rebekah is currently enrolled at Rutgers University as an Animal Science major on the pre-vet track. Rebekah is a bird mom of two green cheek conures (Bat and Kaida), a budgie, and occasionally a cockatiel when she is bird-sitting her brother’s bird. Rebekah’s love of animals also extends to her two red-eared slider turtles and large Plecostomus catfish.

In her free time, you will usually find her curled up with a book, online shopping, hanging out with her siblings, or singing her heart out on karaoke!

Morgan

Customer Service Representative

Morgan came to Harlingen from the human side of customer service.  Morgan has grown in the animal side of customer service with ease and is always happy to meet new people and their pets. In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her dog, cat, and friends. 

Erin

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Erin has been working with animals of all kinds as a caretaker for many years. Erin moved to the veterinary side in 2019 and is working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Erin looks forward to assisting with patients and enjoys helping make the team’s job a bit easer every day. Not only is Erin a rock for our team, but she is also an avid rock climber! When not at work, Erin can be found outdoors hiking, traveling, and camping. Erin looks forward to spending time with her family and friends. Erin shares her life with the love of her 2 cats and 3 tree frogs. Erin looks forward to completing her technician studies, passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam and seeing where the adventure of life takes her.
